Bike rally held in Ganderbal to raise awareness on cyber crimes

A bike rally to raise awareness about cyber crimes was held in Ganderbal.

The event was organised by Guide the Professional (GTP) and District Police in Ganderbal with support and participation from School of Business Studies, Central University of Kashmir.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the rally was flagged off from Central University of Kashmir Green Campus by Prof Fayaz Ahmad Nika, Dean School of Business Studies in presence of Ghulam Hassan DySP Ganderbal and Saba Bhat CEO Guide the Professionals.

The rally passed through different villages and ended at Wayil Ganderbal.

Speaking on the occasion Prof Fayaz highlighted the importance of such events saying technology has become part and parcel of life and with the result there is sharp increase in cyber crimes like identity theft, cyber stalking and cyber bullying as well.

 Dysp Gulam Hassan gave a detailed account of the government mechanism that is available to report cyber crimes.

He informed the participants that police are always available to stop the nefarious designs of cyber criminals.

n Saba Bhat while addressing the audience gave an account of safety tips that need to be followed while using technology She highlighted the importance of holding such more programmes.

Others who attended the function included Mr Aftab Ahmad DySp operations, S M Mandal, SHOs of Ganderbal, Lar and Tulumulla Khirbawani. On this occasion certificates of appreciation were distributed among various participants
