Tour operators include Autumn walk in tour packages

It is autumn time in Kashmir and the social media is abuzz with pictures and videos of hues of the season.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the massive online campaign about autumn hues, which shows blazing Chinars is attracting tourists worldwide to experience this season of fall in Kashmir.

“I have travelled to many places around the world, but the beauty of Kashmir in autumn is unparalleled. The crimson and gold hues are absolutely enchanting," said Pooja Gupta, a tourist from Maharashtra.

Currently, the valley's famous Chinar trees and rolling meadows have turned into a canvas of reds, oranges, and gold, creating a visual masterpiece that is drawing nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Tourists from different corners of the world have been arriving in Kashmir to witness this annual spectacle. Many visitors, especially photographers and Instagram influencers, are capturing the vivid scenery, sharing it with their followers on social media platforms, thus propelling the valley into the spotlight as a top autumn destination.

“I have been taking photos non-stop; every frame is like a painting. My every photo or reel is garnering thousands of views and likes on social media. What prompted me to visit Kashmir is the hues of autumn I have been seeing via pictures and videos on social media,” said Nawaz Ahmad, a social media influencer from Goa.

Tour operators, seeing the interest of the tourists, have included autumn walk in their package this season.

“The autumn season is a boon for us. It's great to see tourists appreciating the natural beauty of Kashmir. We take tourists to Mughal Gardens and Naseem Bagh to show them the real colour of autumn in Kashmir. Last year tourists were taken to Dachigam as well, which looks spectacular in Autumn,” said Umar Ahmad, a travel agent.

Pertinently, the Kashmir tourism department has also been actively promoting the region as an autumn destination.

The department through its social media handles has been posting the pictures, which get a huge response from people across the world.

Meanwhile the tourism players hope for further improvement in the tourist flow in November when the autumn will be at its peak in the valley.

“In November, it is Diwali holidays and we expect further enhancement in the tourist arrivals. The travel agents have made all the arrangements to make the stay of guests in Kashmir adventurous and full of bliss,” said Javaid Ahmad Khan another travel agent
