RBI Grade B 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to follow the given criteria (as per the previous year RBI Grade B Notification) to be eligible for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam:
RBI Grade B Citizenship & Nationality
• Must be a citizen of India
• Must be a subject of Nepal
• Must be a subject of Bhutan
• Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 and has the intention of settling permanently in India.
• A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Grade B Education Qualification
Posts Minimum Educational Qualifications
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General) • Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.
Note:
• Any such full-time course from a recognised University / Institute that is taken after Class XIIth and is at least of 3 years’ duration/ candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination.
• Candidates who have passed the Final Examination for Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India may also apply for the post.

• Any such full-time course from a recognised University / Institute that is taken after graduation and is at least of 2 years’ duration / recognised by the Government as equivalent to post graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR • Essential: a. A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute.

b. PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute.

a. A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years.

b. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute.

c. M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years.

d. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
RBI Grade B Age Limit
RBI has defined minimum age criteria for appearing in the RBI Officer (Grade ‘B’) examination. Candidates are required to be aged between 21 years and 30 years (both age included) to apply for RBI Grade B exam 2023. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

The number of attempts for a general candidate to appear for the RBI Grade B Exam is 6 (six) while for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM there is no limit for appearing in the exam unless they reach the maximum age level.

RBI Grade B Salary 2023
The Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 55,200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750(16 years). This means that you will be having basic pay of Rs. 55,200/- in which you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- up till nine years of your service. After the completion of nine years, you will get into the executive band wherein the basic pay will be Rs. 80850/- and then again for the next two years you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- and further an increment of Rs. 3300/- for the following 4 years thus ending up with the basic pay of Rs. 99,750/- and this is when you don’t get any promotion. Apart from the Basic Pay, multiple emoluments such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, Telephone Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc. will also be provided.

RBI Grade B 2023 Admit Card
The RBI Grade B Admit Card 2023 will be released separately for both Phase-I and Phase-II exams. The admit card for Phase-II Exam will be issued to candidates who have qualified for the Phase-I exam of RBI Grade B. RBI will be releasing RBI Grade B Admit Card on its official website and candidates will not be sent RBI Grade B Call Letters through mail or post.
RBI Grade B 2023 Result
The results for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam will be released after the completion of each phase of the exam. A candidate is required to qualify for both Phase-I and Phase-II exams to get a chance to sit for the interview process. The merit list is prepared in descending order of the marks obtained by candidates after the interview process is complete. The final selection is based on how well you do in your interview.

The cut off for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam will be released after each phase of the examination is completed.
