100 Kashmir schools selected to organise Youth-20 talks

'Move aimed to provide platform to youth to express vision, ideas onG-2- priorities'

In Kashmir Valley, authorities have selected 100 schools from all ten districts to organize Youth-20 (Y20) talks in order to provide a platform to youth to express their vision and ideas on the G20 priorities.


Youth 20 (Y20) is the official youth engagement group of G20 that provides a platform to allow youth to express their vision and ideas on the G20 priorities.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Chief Accounts Officer at Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) in this regard has forwarded the list of all such schools to the government.

The officer said that a list was submitted for the organization of Y20 Talk or Awareness program on Y20 in every District of JKUT.

“These schools have been selected in consultation with Chief Education Officers on the basis of good enrolment, gender proportion and coverage in the entire district,” it reads—(KNO)
