Around 5000 students participated in Tiranga rally held at NM Hr. Secondary Bandipora,
Painting competitions held in Aanganwari Centres.
Bandipora August 10: Under the initiative of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav- Har Ghar Tiranga various activities were organised different departments in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora.
As part of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative a massive Tiranga rally was today held at NM Hr Secondary School Bandipora with the aim to strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga movement.
District Nodal Officer Bandipora Mohd Ashraf Hakak participated in the rally.
The rally was attended by Dy.CEO Bandipora Mohammad Rafiq Parray, Teachers besides other staff members of the NM Hr Secondary School and adjacent schools.
Around 5000 students under took a tiranga rally while chanting slogans of Har Ghar Tiranga giving boost to Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Speaking in the occasion District Nodal Officer said, Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to encourage people to bring ‘Tiranga’ home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of Indian independence.
He said the idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
He said Various activities are being conducted by different departments and schools across Bandipora district.
Under Har Ghar Tiranga Initiative as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahaotsav painting competitions were organised in all the aanganwari centres of district.
DPO Bandipora informed that all the aanganwari centres actively participated in Har Gahr Tiranga initiative and painting competition was also part of this initiative.
