The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has said that it has found that only 45 in-service un-trained teachers were eligible to undergo regular B.ed at Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) Srinagar during the session 2022-24.
DSEK said this while notifying the list of 45-eligible candidates to undergo regular B.ed at the Government College of Education Srinagar during the session 2022-24.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DSEK has in a communication said, “The Principal Government College of Education Srinagar has requested to depute 50 un-trained or post-graduate teachers to undergo regular B.ed course during session 2022-24.”
“All the Chief Education Officers were accordingly requested to nominate the teachers as per the ratio as envisaged in SRO- 375 of 2010,” it reads.
DSEK said “The Chief Education Officers, communicated the service bio-data of such teachers which has been consolidated by the DSEK. It was found that only 45 teachers are eligible for such deputation.”
On July-24, DSEK issued a notification wherein service particulars of eligible undertrained, post-graduate teachers were notified for information of all concerned and for inviting objection.
“This office received four objections from the concerned which have been examined by this office, and necessary action in the matter has been taken,” it reads.
Accordingly, DSEK sanctions the accord to the deputation of forty-five in-service un-trained teachers to undergo regular B.ed Principal Government College of Education Srinagar during the session 2022-24.
DSEK said that the deputation shall be subject to conditions that it is made without prejudice to due consideration of superior claim, if any reported.
“The deputee un-trained in-service teachers has not been nominated for such training earlier and none of the un-trained teacher notified holds un-regularized FAT, fake, fraudulent, un-regularized ReT, Un-regularized Migrant substitute status or is under suspension or is not inactive service,” reads the order—(KNO)
