Visits Hajj house Sgr, interacts with staff, meets pilgrims, seeks their feedback, Member HCoI Er Aijaz Hussian briefs chairman about facilities available at Hajj house, upgradation of work
Srinagar, Jun 16 (KNO): Chairman Hajj Committe of India (HCoI) A P Abdullah Kuttay arrived in Srinagar on his maiden visit to review the Hajj 2022 preparations, flight operations and facilities available for the Haj pilgrims at Hajj house Srinagar.
The chairman HCoI was accompanied by member HCoI Er Aijaz Hussian to Hajj House Srinagar where they reviewed facilities and arrangements available for the pilgrims. The first Hajj flight from Srinagar took off on June 5 while last one is expected to leave on June 20.
As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Chairman HCoI interacted with the staff at Hajj house where besides Er Aijaz Hussian, JK Hajj Committee CEO dr Abdul Salaam was also present, who briefed the chairperson about a series of steps taken by the Hajj committee of JK for the smooth functioning of the Hajj house, facilities available for the of pilgrims from Srinagar to Saudi Arabia. It is pertinent to mention that chairman Hajj Committee of India has arrived in Srinagar for the first time to review and take stock of the arrangements available at the Hajj house. Interacting with the group of Hajj pilgrims from Habba Kadal, the chairperson sought their feedback on preparations available and welcomed their suggestions. He also interacted with the staff at Hajj house and assured them all possible support and help.
Er Aijaz Hussian also briefed the chairperson about foreign exchange counters available for the pilgrims at Hajj house besides other facilities that includes staff, luggage checking machinery, RTPCR facilities, documentation for the pilgrims. The chairperson HCoI assured the Hajj house staff that all the necesary gadgets and other facilities will be put in place at Haj house further besides other upgradtion work will also be started—(KNO)
